We are so proud of our HS fencers on qualifying for the Individual State Championships. Since most high schools in our area do not have varsity HS teams, students are allowed to compete as an Independent, representing whatever high school they go to. They first fence in a qualifying competition @ Drew University during the Cetrullo/Santelli Team Championships, and the top 4 qualify to States.
The State Championship is 40 fencers per weapon and it is 3 rounds of pools to decide the winner, the final being a pool of 8 against the other finalists. Congrats to these fencers on a great day and to those who qualified!
