Congrats to our own Coach Kaveh Shafaie for placing 5th at the Temple Open in Men’s Foil! Kaveh came into the Direct Elimination as the #1 seed after only receiving one touch against him in the pool round. He was able to advance all the way to the top 8 before losing 15-12 to place 5th. This tournament featured lots of high level collegiate fencers, including fencers from UPenn, Penn State, NYU, and other top-ranked collegiate programs. Kaveh was representing the Rutgers club team and was able to medal! Great work.
