We had an excellent Open Foil event in honor of Dr. Gene Packer. It was a great day of fencing with fencers attending from all around the east coast! Our best result came from Ali Shafaie, who placed 3rd after a 15-14 loss in the semi-finals. It was his only loss of the day. Kaveh Shafaie also had a great day, placing 8th after fencing against Ali in the quarter-finals. We also had Nick Reznick compete and finish 19th, along with Elena Vona (24th).
