Kaveh was 1 of 12 American fencers in this event that included the world’s best in Men’s Foil. Kaveh finished the pool round with a 4-2 record, defeating Rapoport (ISR), Alarcon (CHI), Choi (HKG), and Rastegar (AUT). His two losses were against Ha (KOR) and Macchi (ITA). Kaveh won his first DE over Krajcik (CZE) 15-14 after trailing 7-1. His comeback victory got him within one victory of qualifying for Day 2 of the competition, but with a loss against Essam (EGY), he finished 79th overall. We cannot wait to get on this stage again and compete!
