This weekend was very busy for the club. On Friday 3/3, Danielle Tseng was able to earn her E17! On Saturday 3/4, Ali Shafaie took 7th in the Lilov ROC, which gave him enough points to win the NJ Cup.
Today, we had fencers competing in several places. Ali Shafaie, Kaveh Shafaie, and Anika Patel fenced at the State Championships. They placed 13th, 6th, and 6th, respectively, amongst the best fencers in the entire state.
Elena Vona fenced in a BCAF Open Foil, and she took 2nd!
James Garr and Devin Gasiorowski finished 9th and 11th respectively in Y12 Foil in FAP North!
We had Doug Lauricella and Nick Reznick fencing at the Denise O’Connor RYC. They placed 23rd and 35th in Y14 Foil, respectively.
